I have a huge backlog of projects to blog, some still from last year. I do not want to take this into the new year, so I decided to write only short posts about them. Just for me for documentation. Here we go:
Pattern: Cartagena Cami from ITS
Fabric: stretch knit from my stash, fold-over-elastic from my local haberdashery store
Size: 4 (usually I sew a size 2, but this pattern has a lot of negative ease, and size 4 was a good choise for me)
Alterations: none; for future versions I would lenghten the shoulder straps a bit, the armhole is a bit high (which is totally my fault and not the patterns, as the instructions have you put on the cami to choose the lenght of the straps)
Conclusion: great basic pattern, fast to sew (seriously, there are only two side seams, the hem and the elastic)
Disclaimer: I got the pattern for free in exchange for testing it. All opinions are my own.
