Here are some more unblogged items that I made this year:
Item #1: Itch to Stitch Vienna Tank Top
I made another Vienna Tank top from some rayon fabric scraps. Great to wear in summer.
Item #2: All You Ever Wallet by Sew-Mad
I needed a lightweight wallet for my hiking tour last summer, so I made one.
Item #3: Susaen Sweater by Kirsten-Michele
Yarn is Drops Bella held together with Drops Kid Silk. You cannot see it in the pictures, but the pattern is also along the sides. I learned the provisional cast on.
Item #4: Itch to Stitch Santorini Tank
Tank top with interesting seamlines and a button band on one side.
Item #5: Itch to Stitch Islares Top
It’s a simple top but with a nice neckline. This has already become a wardrobe staple. The fabric is a cotton knit with spandex.
Item #6: Project bags
The big project bag is a free pattern from Amy Lowden. It has everything you need, I especially love the ring for the progress keepers. The smaller ones are some simple zipper bags. I am so happy with these makes. The big one can hold yarn and material for a sweater, and the smaller ones are perfect for gloves or socks.
Item #7: Two by Two Hat by Anne G.
First hat ever that I knitted. Fit is really good and such an easy and fast make.
Item #8: Yellow lingerie set
Again a Maya bra and Watson bikini. The fabric was a vibrant yellow but was already discolored because there was a black sock in the laundry… For this bra, I added 0.5 cm to the underarm to improve the fit.
Item #9: Stripy advent socks
I always wanted to knit some stripy advent socks and this year I finally did. The wool was a Christmas Mystery kit from NicoleCMendez (Etsy). I made both socks toe-up in parallel following the instructions from the craftsy class “Socks – two at a time”. I really liked the heel construction.
Item #10: Tablecloth
A quick and dirty tablecloth for my balcony table. I just cut the desired length and left the selvage edges unhemmed.
Item #11: Penny gloves by Petite knit
I made two pairs of Penny gloves as Christmas gifts. Now I also need to make a pair for myself.
Item #12: Cover for my Ironing board
I made a new cover for my ironing board.
Wow, you’ve been busy last year, Angela! I especially like the 2×2 hat and the Christmas socks, and I’m so relieved that you don’t fret with 2 exactly same socks 😀 Have a great 2024!
Hi Andrea, yes, it is more than I thought. This is the reason for this blog, to keep track of my makes 🙂 Oh, and I thought about making matching socks, but was too lazy in the end to wind up the yarn in a way that would work.
