Amy Lowden Polesden scarf

This is the Polesden scarf by Amy Lowden from tailoressstudio.com.

Yarn:

I used the yarn from the 2021 advent yarn calender from dandelion and dogwood. The scarf pattern was released at the same time and has been designed with yarn advent calendars in mind. I used 4 mm needles for the single ply yarn and 3 mm needles for the suri alpaca.

Alterations:

I knitted 15 rows of lace motive instead of 9 and 24 pattern repeats instead of 23 as I wanted to use as much of my advent yarn as possible. As a result, the scarf is very long.

Construction:

The pattern is easy to remember so I always turned to this project when I was too tired to knit something complicated. Blocking was really important to open up the lace pattern.

Conclusion

I loved knitting this project and enjoyed every single color. Each was different and unique on its own. The finished scarf is soo warm and cozy and I love how it turned out.
