Last Christmas, I was given some lovely yarn from A Homespun House in the colorway “Ash” as a gift. This is a sock yarn, but as I wear my hand-knit socks only on rare occasions, I thought I would get more use out of a pair of gloves. So I searched my library and found the “Managing your Flamingo” pattern by Dagmar Mora that I had purchased in September 2021.
The pattern is quite intricate, and I made some mistakes; however, even I do not find them anymore. The yarn is not as soft as, e.g., Lana Grossa baby cool wool (my preferred yarn for gloves and wristwarmers), but it is okay, and they already have some wear, as my old gloves are getting holes.
